I'll insert here our guide for creating a bart PE boot CD:

to create a self booting Windows XP CD, you may download the BartPE at http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/. HDClone will be integrated into the PE build using its plugin system. A plugin for BartPE can be obtained via http://www.miray.de/public/support/HDClone-BartPE-Plugin.en.zip. Install BartPE on your system and unpack the HDClone plugin in the 'plugin' subdirectory of BartPE (usually c:\Program Files\pebuilder3110a\plugin). In thus subdirectory a new folder should exist named 'HDClone' Copy hdclone.exe to the folder named 'pebuilder3110a\plugin\HDClone\files' and run pebuilder.exe in the pebuilder3110a directory. Create a Windows XP CD according to the tutorial at http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/#start and boot from this CD. HDClone can be launched from 'Go->Programs->HDClone'.

If you need special drivers for your mass storage, you have to copy these drivers to the 'pebuilder3110adriversSCSIAdapter' directory of your BartPE installation. They will be added to the XP CD automatically then.
