I am using HD Clone 3.9. I do not seem to, at this time, have a problem with a 1TB WD hdd. However, when the 3.9.5 comes out will I get an email as to how to update to this version?

Yes, users of older versions will be notified by mail (if they didn't opt to NOT be notified), and I'll also post it here in the forum.
