HD Clone 3.8 Disk Images

Post by Sean » Thu Jan 14, 2010 5:36 pm

Have just purchased the Professional Edition of HD Clone 3.8.3 after trialling the free edition and works perfectly.

I was wondering if there is a way of browsing a disk image file rather like a virtual disk ? If not are there any plans to write a utility to do this ?

It would be quite useful to be able to browse the contents of an image file for any missing or deleted files to be able to retrieve them to fix problems on a windows installation.

Other than that 10 out 10 !

Many Thanks

Sean.

We are working on such a driver for Windows (it will then be available as a virtual disk), but are not yet ready to release it. You can expect it in one of the next months.

Hi

Just wondered if you were any nearer releasing a disk image viewer.

I have just upgraded to 3.9 Pro and the only addition that would make it even more useful would be a utility of this kind.

The disk image viewer is currently being worked on, rest assured. We are planning to release it within one of the next subversions (3.9.5 or so, hopefully).
