After the long wait of transferring some files to another disk, I got "copy processed finished" and the pop up tells me that some files are unusable....grrrr, whatever about that.
Now, the little tabbed pop up "media adjustment" has been going for maybe an hour or so. Is this stuck, or does it take some time?

Media adjustment should only take a few seconds, as only a few parts of the MBR and the partition sector are changed. In some cases it is required though to change to boot information for Windows Vista and Windows 7. In these cases, the file system has to be accessed, which could be a source for errors. If you press Ctrl+Alt+F8 and enter procinfo, do you see a '1' in the column labeled 'E'? If so, there is an error, if there's no column labeled 'E', then there is no error.
