HD clone command line parameters

Post by Amit Zohar » Thu Dec 24, 2009 9:35 am

Hi
Is there a way to run HDclone with command line parameters (to set source/target drives for example)?
Can the speed of HD clone standard edition be reduced (I'm copying to compact flash drives)

No, there's currently no way to control HDClone by command line, but we are working on implementing such a feature in one of the next major releases.

The problem is that it has to work both on the self-booting and the windows version, which makes this task a bit difficult.

As for the speed reduction: there's one point in the extended options called 'USB Cooldown', which doesn't limit itself to USB drives but makes a short pause after each block read, which could be what you're looking for. There's currently no other way for artificially slowing down the copying process.
