i want to buy this:

i think this is a digital download... and i will use this software on the same machine (i have to clone a disk every week)
but i'm a little bit scared about activation... because maybe the "cloning" machine can fail (motherboard issues..) or maybe i want to upgrade the machine to a new M2/NVME controller... or something else (maybe for compatibility purpouses)
if i can activate once a time the product.. i need to be sure that the machine is 100% compatible before using the license...

OR i will recive an USB hardware token to be placed on the machine?

A USB hardware token is only included in the "Professional Edition Portable" and in the "Enterprise Edition"s.

The Standard Edition comes without an activation token. The normal token-less activation is linked to your computer’s motherboard, so as long as you don’t change that, your activation will work.
If you switch motherboards, you can de-activate HDClone on the old mainboard and re-activate it on the new mainboard.
In case you have to switch motherboards because of a failure (and you cannot deactivate it on the old mainboard anymore), simply contact support.
