Hello,

We have bought HDClone 8 Professional Edition Portable. Our question is regarding to usb token, for exmaple what happens to our license if the usb flash disk with the token is lost or somehow damaged. Is our license lost ? or will miray send us a new flash disk token ?

Can we make a backup of the token? if so, will it allow us to use to active on our clients PCs ? How we should proceed?

Hello abucoict,

Please note, that only the delivered Miray USB token can be used for activating HDClone on arbitrary systems, by connecting it there.

In case you aren't able to use the USB token for activating HDClone anymore, you may contact us so we can either help you to fix the problem at hand or to provide you with a replacement. Of course the replacement will be for free if the damage wasn't self-caused.

Also, in such a case you can activate HDClone with One-time-activations (OTAs), which are valid for starting HDClone once and are meant for emergency situations like this.

In case the USB token gets lost it would be necessary to purchase a replacement token. For this, of course you may contact us as well.
