when i copied my ide disk to a new sata in a usb enclosure the whole process completed successfully ,my only problem is my c/progam files size is 7.97gb while the cloned h/drive is 7.22gb there are no errors just this difference in file size ?

The only thing I can think of is that if you clone while running windows, HDClone takes a snapshot and copies the snapshot, but not the changing original data. Afterwards, there can be slight differences in the file sizes if by any chance some files (it might also be some log files etc.) have been written in the mean time.
