How to clone to a SSDs with same Model Number

Post by gelsner » Sun Aug 07, 2011 8:29 pm

Hi,

I need help with this. I have tried to clone, using MiRay HDClone 4.0 Professional, from one SSD to another. But when they have the same Model Number it does not recognize the 2nd SSD. Of couse the disks have different Serial Numbers. Is this a problem everyone has in using 4.0? Or what is the fix for this?

Thanks in advance,

/ Gary E.

Does this happen with HDClone for Windows or with the self booting version?

Both use different drivers, and if one works and the other not, then it's a driver issue. WIth the self-booting version, you can press Ctrl+Alt+F12 to create a log file on an USB flash drive (you have to plug it in first). Send the log file to support@miray.de

Alex,

I just ran it with the Icon on the Desktop and had been trying to run it with the CD; and I get the same results with both methods. That is; MiRay does not see the 2nd disk with the same model number either way.

So I guess with have eliminated a driver problem?

I still can't figure out exactly how to make the debug file. Could you tell me whne to push the 3 keys down; say when I'm using he approach from the Icon on the desktop?

Thanks,

/ Gary E.
