Hello!

I used HDClone 3.8
to clone a 20gb hdd (maxtor with ide contact) containing 2 partions. I made a directly clone to a my new disk 250gb SATA with extended space adjustment.
The process was sucessful, and after i could see the copies.


I then disconect my old disk, and windows starts boot up (unusual fast, only 2-4 seconds), and after i type my password and press "enter" immedietaly i get logged out.. I tried to Run CHKDSK but system says everything is OK.

So help me please :)

Please specify which version of HDClone (3.8.2, 3.8.3) you are running, and which version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7).

The problem with XP can be that HDClone gave it a new Disk Signature, which in some seldom cases was already taken by say a usb flash drive, and therefore windows doesn't allow it. In this case it usually helps doing a new clone, and a new disk signature is created.
