HDclone 3.8.2 cant open image

Hi,
my colleague made a disk clone and uploaded to my FTP server, for some reason I can not extract that image to HDD simply because the HDclone does not see that image no matter where I put it on the source drive, I have tried NTFS and FAT32 volumes, in folder and in the very root of filesystem - it just does not pick it up!
The image was made with HDClone 3.8.2. I have following files in the image folder:

Directory of C:\pmj.img

2009/11/02/ 15:12 .
2009/11/02/ 15:12 ..
2009/10/02/ 11:20 2 103 612 720 960D4095
2009/10/02/ 11:13 32 304 98E13D5F
2009/10/02/ 11:13 104 desktop.ini
2009/10/02/ 11:13 55 505 hdclone.ico
2009/10/02/ 11:20 381 pmj.img
5 File(s) 2 103 701 014 bytes

Maybe there is someting missing? How can I extract the contents from the HDclone package?

Thanks.

It's simple: create a folder in the root directory named "HDClone Images" and move the image folder into that folder. Then HDClone will find it.

I'm having the exact same issue.

I've placed the image in the root directory, as well as in "HDClone Images" on a FAT32-formatted USB drive (separate from the HDClone bootable flash drive I'm booting off of.)

It doesn't see the image anywhere. I've tried shortening the file name (down to just 5 letters now, before it was in the format of XP-Backup-d/a/te.img)

Have you tried HDClone 3.8.3? We have changed the criteria on when an image is recognized as such, and also regarding the file name, which can now be practically every allowable name by the file system.

With the new HDClone (Version 4) you can browse the entire disk for the image, no need to restrict to the "HDClone Images" folder. Even though, it's where HDClone looks first, so it's still a good idea keeping the images there.
