clone from HDD to SSD

i have an image on a 180 gig HD with a 32gig boot partition of XP.

i want to transfer the image to a 64gig SSD drive.

will there be any complications in doing this?

No, at least there shouldn't. If you select Image to Partition, you should be able to select only the boot partition of the image to copy on the SSD drive. Before that, you should though set up the partition as bootable.

So first you have to partition the 64GB drive to contain one partition, with the fixmbr tool from the windows rescue disc this will make this partition bootable.

Then use Image->Partition and transfer the boot partition on the SSD drive.
