Can I use hdclone for hd-internal to usb-external hd?

The question is because I can´t see my external usb hd when I use hdclone, I only see my internal one.

The current versions of HDClone only support IDE drives (and SCSI drives with the Professional SCSI Edition), so no USB drives are recognized.
With the new HDClone 3.1 (which will be presented on the Systems 2005 fair), USB drives can be read from and written to. Unfortunately the new version is only available in german this far, though an english version should be out soon.
You can check this site from time to time to see if the new version is available in english.
I can also recommend to subscribe to our newsletter, you'll be notified if an updated version is out.
