HDShredder deletes the contents of hard disks and other mass storage media reliably at the physical level. You can also delet single partitions or distinct areas instead of whole disks.

Parallel deletion conforming to international standards

HDShredder Enteprise Edition can, depending on the particular edition, delete up to 4, 8 or 16 media simultanously and supports a variety of 15 international security standards for data deletion issued by governments, experts and other authorities.

Freely customable deletion patterns

HDShredder offers an editor for deletion patterns. It lets users freely define their own specific deletion patterns as well as entire deletion procedures with up to 398 runs. Choose out of nearly 300 quintillion combinations by defining your own patterns and write-cycles.

SCSI, Firewire, USB 3.0

SCSI, Firewire and USB 3.0 are supported on Windows and by the self-booting version as well.

Self-booting and on Windows

HDShredder offers a self-booting version (HDShredder/S) and a Windows application (HDShredder/W). Both versions use the same user interface, so switching between the two is no problem.

Each HDShredder software package now contains a Windows program (HDShredder/W) in addition to the self-booting program (HDShredder/S). With identical interfaces on both programs there is complete ease in switching between HDShredder/S and HDShredder/W.

HDShredder creates a detailed deletion report with any deletion from the Professional Edition on. This report can now be stored to USB keys and other USB media. In Windows the deletion report can also be stored on network drives.

License Options

You may obtain HDShredder Enterprise Edition as Maintenance License (Online Shop).

Maintenance License

The Maintenance License allows the licensee to use the product on any PC to maintain, using the delivered token. The software is permanently installable but only usable with the token connected.
