Cloning not working

In order to try HDClone 8, downloaded free version and installed it on a computer (running Windows 10 Pro 1803) and created a USB stick.

Source and Target are two SSD of exactly the same size (as informed by HDClone).
However, when trying to clone, HDClone contradicts itself and says "Target is smaller".

I'm afraid that the paid versions may also present the same problem.

Hello,

For the diagnosis I would like to ask you to provide us with the respective, by HDClone 8 automatically stored system log of this HDClone session.

INFO: With self booting USB drives and on Windows, the system log is automatically stored after a copy mode is closed or when HDClone is closed. Though, you also can manually store the system log via the Toolbox menu (wrench symbol).

When you started HDClone on Windows, then you can find the system log, also on Windows, via the Toolbox menu (wrench symbol) under "Stored log files". And when you started HDClone from a self booting USB drive, then you can find the system log on this USB drive in the directory "/Symobi/Logs/".
(With a self booting CD an extra USB drive is necessary, for storing the log manually on it.)
You can identify the right system log with the time stamp. For that it is best to sort the files by their modification date.

There are 3 log files.
However, .log files are not accepted as attachment.
Tried .txt, .csv, .doc, .jpg - no way.
What extensions are valid?


UPDATE: zip files are OK.

With the Free Edition you can copy to larger storage devices only. Copying to an equally sized or smaller target is supported from the Basic Edition on:
