How to run HDClone with a local non-admin user?

Post by mevis_caravello » Thu Nov 26, 2015 5:09 pm

Dear all,
in my company we are using a standolone pc (Win8.1) with admin account - with password - and a limited user - used by many people.

When other users try to run hdclone, windows ask for Administrator credentials.

how to run HDclone with a local limited user?

thanks for all.

If you run HDClone under Windows it requires Administrator credentials. Though you also can run HDClone from a self booting medium (USB key or CD/DVD). That way you can use it independently from Windows. The self booting medium can be created with the Boot setup which can be found in the Toolbox menu (wrench symbol).
