With the self booting medium of HDClone you can access network shares when you start HDClone in Linux mode. For the Linux mode it is necessary that the self booting medium was created with the respective option (requires an HDClone 8 Professional Edition installation). At the following address is a short tutorial about how to create an HDClone 6 self booting USB drive (this also applies to HDClone 8):
