The downloadble files can be installed the easiest with the included installation program "install.exe" on a floppy disk. Only the two files "install.exe" and "install.dat" are required for this.

As a user of another OS than Windows you can also install the SAT tools on floppy disk by copying the floppy disk image with appropriate programs directly on floppy disk.

To do so we offer the complete floppy disk image for a simple transfer to the floppy disk in the downloadable installation package. In Windows this is done with the installation program, on other platforms you have to use special imaging programs. On UNIX-compatible systems (like Linux, FreeBSD or MacOS X) you can use the command "dd" to transfer the image. Please enter the following command at the shell:

dd if=image.dat of=/dev/fd0

where "/dev/fd0" is the location of the floppy disk drive and the floppy disk image is located in the current directory with the name "image.dat".
